Job Description:

TerraSense is looking to expand!

We’re a fully funded startup: enjoy the culture, environment and pace of a startup with the security and financial stability of an already established company.

We truly believe that it’s our team that drives this company and its success so far, and we are looking for talents to join us. We want people who encompass our values of being self-driven, authentic, and interested in pushing the envelope of AI/deep learning.

WHY WORK WITH US?*

We believe in the change we can bring with our technology. Our technology is on the forefront of AI and deep learning with real world application. We work together with NVIDIA, UBC and Transport Canada to help modernize Canada. Our products work with two sectors: Aerospace and the Defense sector.

Our team consists of people with a variety of backgrounds who enjoy leading initiatives and are self motivated  (besides trusting you with the work, we don’t believe in clocking people’s hours, we offer flexible office hours), hungry to learn more (we are happy to support and pay for that too!), are team players (we love doing team activities like micro-brewery sampling), and are passionate in seeing how we can change the world together.

We’re located in the beautiful city of Kelowna, British Columbia. We’re convinced it’s the greatest place on earth and to prove it, we’re offering the right person the chance to experience it with us: we’ll pay for the relocation fees.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING...*

As a Senior developer, you will bring your experience and expertise to support one or more of our scrums to build and refine our sensor integrations, real-time data processing, data fusion algorithms, and/or software integrations. You will use your Python / C(++) skills to develop, maintain, optimize, and document MIST code while mentoring your peers and supporting junior developers. You will contribute to our ongoing efforts to build high-functioning DevSecOps and MLOps pipelines, building and enhancing the tools and systems we use to make deployable AI software. The MIST project is our core project developed through the Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) program and is key to our success.
