The Engineering Technician is responsible for product and mold design and development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates conceptual layouts of molding machine components and molding machine designs;
• Creates detailed engineering drawings from conceptual layouts;
• Processes engineering change authorizations for tool and assembly drawings;
• Manage and maintain bill of materials for machine base;
• Provides technical support services to manufacturing departments;
• Coordinates tooling purchases with outside vendors;
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION & SKILLS

• Requires a 2 year college degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of 3 years past engineering experience;
• Good communication and writing skills required;
• Must have Solidworks and Microsoft Office experience.
