Washington State Department of Transportation is currently seeking an experienced and motivated engineering professional to join our team in the downtown Seattle area in our Northwest Region. This position acts as Project Inspector responsible for assisting in oversight of Design Build activities. This position will also assist in the inspection of construction projects and assist in assuring compliance with contract plans and specifications including environmental permits under close supervision. Help prepare field reports and take and file project photos documenting construction work and issues. Assist with performing material sampling/testing related to inspection duties when requested. Supports the Field Operations Manager and QV Lead Engineer to ensure design and construction contract requirements are met.
