Job Description:

  • Design, deploy, maintain, and administer organizational Active Directory.
  • Plan, design, deploy, configure, and administer Windows Server operating system solutions.
  • Plan, design, install, deploy, maintain, and administer server and storage hardware solutions.
  • Plan, design, deploy, maintain, and administer virtual Windows servers, in VMWare and Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Work with organizational stakeholders to integrate cloud and on-premises software solutions into existing infrastructure, security, and authentication requirements.
  • Maintain and administer VMWare ESXi Server.
  • Administer Microsoft Azure Cloud resources.
  • Analyze cyber security vulnerability scan reports and apply updates and fixes including but not limited to WSUS.
  • Perform engineering changes as required and respond to incidents and outage resolution requests promptly.
  • Support evolving cyber security initiatives and on-demand rollouts.


Qualifications:

Strong experience with workload virtualization technologies, storage area networks, cloud deployments and monitoring.

Candidate should have experience with midlarge scale environments.
 

Specific Skills:

  • VMWare virtualization – ESXi, vSphere, SRM, Virtual Networks (Distributed and Standard Switches).
  • Storage Management – Configure and Monitoring. (PureStorage experience a plus)
  • Experience in infrastructure monitoring and alerting solutions from Solarwinds, vROPs, PagerDuty and Microsoft.
  • Experience in Active Directory – On-Prem and Azure
  • Experience with VDI and Application delivery solutions. (Citrix experience a plus)
  • Proficiency with automation tools and PowerShell.
  • Experience with IPAM solutions. (Microsoft and Infoblox).
  • Experience with Backup solutions. (Commvault and Azure experience a plus).
  • Knowledge of Azure Solutions – VMs, StorageAccounts, Resource Groups.
  • Cisco UCS Blades and Stand-alone Servers – Hardware and Management.
  • Experience in Windows OS – Server 2016 and 2019.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task various responsibilities at a high level.
  • Confident and authoritative speaker.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight timeframes.
  • High degree of self-motivation.
  • Ideal team player.
  • Ability to break down workflows and redefine process.
  • Excellent time manager.
  • Ability to coordinate with a technical team for: root cause analysis of performance issues, ticket workload allocation, project designs, and business relations.
  • Reporting and build documentation on all initiatives and ongoing projects.


Skillsets – Good to Have

  • Basic Network Skills - Understanding vlans, accesstrunk ports, LAG interfaces (LACP), ARP and OSI model as a reference for troubleshooting. Basic understanding of IPv4 addressing and subnetting.
  • O365 – Administration and Support.
  • Basic Linux Skills.
  • Disaster Recovery experience a plus.
