Washington State Department of Transportation is currently seeking an experienced engineer to serve as a Project Manager in Seattle, Washington. This position reports directly to the Construction Project Engineer for the SR 520 Montlake to Lake Washington I/C and Bridge Replacement Project. This individual is primarily responsible for construction oversight and quality management of electrical, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and mechanical systems. This position was developed to ensure the Design-Builder establishes and implements a strong Quality Management program to guarantee work meets or exceeds contract requirements. This highly technical position requires extensive knowledge of complex electrical, ITS, and mechanical systems in construction projects during day-to-day operations while representing WSDOT in all interactions with the Design-Builders Quality Control and Quality Assurance Staff.
