Job Description:

The Enterprise Integration Engineer serves as the senior subject matter expert for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite middleware and Oracle PL SQL. Responsible for providing solution development, operational, and project support to empower business users and support future upgrades. The Enterprise Integration Engineer leverages deep business process knowledge and technical experience to drive continuous improvement and process simplification - The Enterprise Integration Engineer partners with key stakeholders to understand business needs and formulate solutions using Oracle middleware features and industry best practices.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Technical Knowledge & Skills
• 6 to 8 years hands-on experience with the entire software development lifecycle i.e., requirements, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment, and post-production support
• Design, implementation, and management of the OIC environment, testing, and implementation of new services -Designing a services-based framework built on the OIC platform.
 
• Experience working on Integration Strategies for cloud integration and on-prem integration
• OCI, DBaaS, and other PaaS experience
• ERP or Cloud Data Conversion processes inbound and outbound interfaces, integration using Oracle SOA, BI Publisher, PaaS Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience
• Experience in life-cycle projects using Oracle SOA Suite Middleware products (Oracle BPEL, Mediator, OSB, MFT) to integrate enterprise-level applications is preferred
• Experience in analysis, design and development of enterprise applications using SOA, BPEL, Java, J2EE, and Database technologies (Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle MFT, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle OSB, Oracle BAM and Oracle WebLogic)
 
• Migrate and enhance existing OSB and SOA based integrations in on-premises Oracle Fusion middleware 12c to OIC
• Implementation experience with Oracle SaaS APIs, connection adapters, etc.
• Strong hands-on experience with creating Service Oriented Architecture solutions using Java-based technologies and J2EE
• Oracle PCS, VBCS development experience.
 
• Experience with integration for ERP on-prem and SaaS application modules and associated dependent systems.
• EDI Integration using Oracle PL SQL via IBM Sterling.
• Worked extensively with Oracle RDBMS; Comfortable with SQL, PL/SQL, and developing various database objects like Triggers, Stored procedures, Functions, Sequences, Views etc.
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-project environment and support multiple internal customers
• Continuously learning with the ability to master new technologies, application modules, standards, and best practices
 
Education, Experience and Certifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in supporting and implementing Oracle Integration Cloud, PL SQL, Oracle Middleware SOA Suite 11g and 12c
• Experience in food and beverage industries, process manufacturing or a related field preferred but not a must
• Experience with integration for Oracle SCM/HCM/Financial Modules.
