Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a motivated individual with strong construction contract administration skills to fill a Transportation Engineer 2 - Assistant Office Engineering position in the Clark County Project Engineering Office in Vancouver, WA. This position will be part of an office engineering team that supports the construction inspection team by administering construction contracts for transportation projects including, but not limited to, processing contractor payments, preparing change orders, tracking, and monitoring DBE and training utilization and participation, and assisting with final close out of construction projects. In this role, the team member holding this position will also design small projects by preparing project scoping and design documentation, developing plans, specifications, and estimates, and providing CADD support. It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills and can prioritize and perform tasks in a timely manner.
