Mid-Level Environmental Scientist

Company/Position Description:

The Environmental Consulting division of River Hawk Environmental, LLCis seeking an entry to mid-level Environmental Scientist to work with our highly skilled Licensed Site Professional (LSP) team. We offer the opportunity to work on challenging environmental projects for a wide range of clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company. This position entails travel to job sites and working outside of the office setting some of the time conducting site and subsurface characterization for environmental and civil projects. This position will be located in the Marshfield, MA office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collect samples (liquid, air, and/or soil) as necessary.

• Collect and transmit data electronically.

• Interpret drawings and test specifications with attention to detail.

• Prepare reports pertaining to baseline environmental studies and oil and hazardous material cleanup sites.

• Communicate regularly and effectively with team members.  

• Create and edit professional reports. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, or related field.

• 2+ years experience in field work or in the environmental industry. 

• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check.

• Physically capable to work in outdoor environments.
