Senior Quality Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be a key member of the Spatial Quality team, driving the quality of our products and services to the next level. The role utilizes experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute business objectives, and drive short and long term product and process improvements. You will be responsible for both internal and customer quality engineering.

• Coach internal and external stakeholders on fundamentals of quality tools: (root cause analysis, black box and white box testing, end to end system tests, performance, reliability, etc).
• You will drive the adoption of the latest quality testing frameworks and tools using industry standards and methodologies.
• In this role, you will coordinate, direct and manage product quality throughout all stages of the product life cycle.
• You will also be responsible for customer facing support and provide constructive feedback to leadership.

Senior Quality Engineer Requirements and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the development of high performance C/C++ software using object oriented methodologies.
• Hands on testing experience with desktop applications, mobile applications, ecosystems, backend platform, API testing or web services (White, gray, and blackbox testing)
• Experience with scripting (Python or shell scripting) to automate manual processes
• Performance Testing Experience (Load, Stress, Scalability, Endurance, Volume)
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (Git, Jenkins)
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Bonus Qualification

• Experience working with automated testing frameworks
• Enjoys hardware hacking.
• Experience with audio related technologies
• Experience with Lua
