Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a motivated engineer with strong technical skills to serve as the Survey Crew Lead to direct the overall operations for location work and construction staking on the survey crew in in Port Orchard, WA. This position will perform skilled technical work in support of engineering construction projects, which includes essential support in surveying, monitoring contractor's activities, and ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with Contract Plans and Specifications. The future incumbent will play a pivotal role in meeting the agency's goals. Work assignments are designed with professional development in mind. This position supports WSDOT’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and built-in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The work of this position improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system.
