Washington State Department of Transportation is currently seeking multiple Transportation Technicians to join our Project Engineering offices in Bellingham, Burlington and Mount Vernon, WA. In these roles, you will support WSDOT’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and constructed in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. This opportunity offers a variety of work including material testing, construction inspection, design tasks including CADD, land surveying, and preliminary office engineering. We are looking for entry or mid-level engineering technicians, who want to grow and broaden their experience in transportation engineering. These positions will provide you with the ability to experience working in varied environments, such as out in the field, in an office atmosphere, and in the laboratory.   This is an in-training position that offers a career path and on-the-job training. Candidates will be considered for a Transportation Technician 2, or Transportation Technician 3, depending on their qualifications.
