The position is available within the Construction Management team, working on various roadway projects ranging from state interstates and highways out to small, commercial parking lots. We are seeking an experienced inspector who can actively engage in assigned construction projects including inspecting to ensure contractor compliance with state specifications, plans, and/or proposals.
 

Requirements / Responsibilities for this Construction Inspector opportunity includes:
 

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of inspection experience
• Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar preferred
• Experience with Roadway projects including Highways, Interstates, Commercial Lots, etc. required
• Must have experience with data entry into ODOT’s CMS/SITE MANAGER system or local documentation
• equivalent
• Following certifications are highly desired:
  • ACI Level I
  • Flexible Pavement Training and Ohio Aggregate Level I
  • National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Highway Construction Level II

Salary: $24-34 per hour, commensurate with experience.
