Duties: Collaboratively define a vision around quality and build the strategy, team, process, and tools to achieve it within the fast-growing Philanthropy Cloud. Grow, nurture, and lead a multidisciplinary team to develop critical test infrastructure, enact approaches that bring quality further upstream, and share actionable data that keeps quality top of mind. Manage and lead a team of exceptional QEs working on a complex platform. Lead the charge on defining a quality mindset with your peers in engineering, product management, operations, and customer experience. Build and deploy the necessary quality processes that enable our teams to exceed our customers' expectations. Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product. Ensure teams have clear priorities and adequate resources. Serve as multiplier and have a passion for team and team members’ success. Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members. Maintain high morale and motivating the delivery team to go above and beyond. Advocate for technical excellence and helping the teams make good decisions. Maintain and foster culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered or Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or seven (7) years of experience in the job offered.
