We have an immediate need for a Master Scheduler who has experience with inventory management / material acquisition to join a well-established manufacturing firm near Birmingham, Alabama. Do you have experience coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials? Do you have ERP experience helping to improve the processes to develop / organize in a manufacturing / product-driven environment?
Requirements / Responsibilities for this Master Scheduler opportunity includes:
- High school diploma is required. Associate Degree or higher in a related field is a plus
- Microsoft Dynamics AX or ERP/MRP software experience is a plus
- APICS Certification / working knowledge of APICS principles preferred
- Responsibilities include reviewing production schedules, work orders, or sales orders to determine materials requirements and priority
- Assist department supervisors in developing and revising production schedules
- Calculate figures such as the required amount of labor or materials, manufacturing costs, or wages using pricing schedules, calculators, or computers
Salary: $65,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
