We have an immediate need for a Sr. Water Resource Engineer who has experience with hydrology and hydraulics for stormwater facilities to join a well-established nationwide engineering consulting firm in Houston, TX. Are you a Civil Engineer with strong water resource experience? Are you interested in joining a nationwide leading engineering consulting firm?
Requirements / Responsibilities for this Water Resource Engineer opportunity includes:
- Professional Engineering License Required in TX
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Required. Emphasis in water resource is a plus
- Expertise with H&H Modeling (SWMM and/or ICM preferred) and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer and sanitary collection systems.
- Prepare drainage studies and stormwater masterplans.
- Analysis and design of municipal stormwater facilities (open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, green infrastructure, etc).
- Design of plans and specifications for construction.
- Performing quality control of stormwater models, reports, and/or design.
- Permitting with local, state, and federal permitting agencies.
Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Open to discussing higher salaries
