Job Description:

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day support of Vroom’s networks between all sites and cloud infrastructure, as well as the Design and Architecture of those networks. They will work closely with the Dev Ops and Service Desk Teams in handling escalated business critical issues. They will also work closely with various business units and stakeholders in order to provide excellence in customer and end user support. The Senior Network Engineer is a critical role for business impacting issues.

  • Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure.

  • Establish, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools..

  • experience with BigFix, MDM/MAM, Windows Servers 2012 -2019, AD, OKTA, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

  • Patch vulnerable systems and review systems issues

  • Installing testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.

  • Evaluate the existing systems and provide the technical direction to IT support staff.

  • Oversee the development of customized software and hardware requirement.

  • Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.

  • Oversee the constant availability of resources.

  • Maintain and supervise the inventory.

 

Required:

  • Active Directory administration

  • Vulnerability patching

  • AWS experience In AWS environments

  • Experience with VPN, Encryption, SD-WAN, AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Firewall, AWS AZ, Wi-FI, DMZ

  • Knowledge of the network operating systems. I.e Cisco R/S, Palo Alto, SD-WAN

  • Professional certification - CCNP, or similar level certification, is minimum required

  • Deep knowledge of  IT troubleshooting procedures, AWS Platform, Palo Alto and Cisco Enterprise network.

  • Ability to collaborate with peers and coworkers, as well as other departments and end users. 

  • Excellent Communication skills
