Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated leader to develop, expand and grow our water resources engineering team. We are highly selective and will be seeking the right candidate who will engage and interact with the ownership group. This candidate will provide strategic direction to the water resources business unit as well as lead, mentor and develop staff. The chosen candidate will be responsible for driving water resources business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and drive the firm's strategic vision of leading, growing and expanding our water resources efforts.
  • Lead and coordinate water resources-related business development efforts across our markets in Wisconsin as well as neighboring states.
  • Lead technical designs and evaluations.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and assignments.
  • Develop scope, schedule and budget for new projects.
  • Prepare proposals and sell services to retain and obtain clients and manage projects for each element.
  • Provide work for direct reports to maintain billable utilization.
  • Retain clients through quality services and effective communication, with efficient use of resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant project/client management experience with Water Resources, Storm Water, Sediment Control, Erosion and DOT Stream Restoration/Design.
  • Relevant experience with direct supervision of staff.
  • Technical experience on a variety of Water Resource projects.
  • Engineering consulting experience.
  • Driven and motivated by successful business development, client management, and business growth.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and confident presentation skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
