THIS POSITION IS IN WARNER ROBINS, GA
We are seeking a systems engineer to support multiple programs involving systems engineering (SE) and digital engineering (DE) initiatives for clients at Robins AFB, GA. The successful candidate will be self-driven, an excellent communicator, have a strong background in digital and model-based engineering in defense or commercial applications. The position will support multiple clients, primarily government.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in an engineering field
- 3 years’ experience working in systems engineering
- Familiarity with AF digital engineering tenets and objectives
- Demonstrated successful experience in any or all of the following:
- Model based system engineering (MBSE)
- Applying Cameo or similar MBSE-enabling toolset
- Developing solutions architectures
- Requirements management
- Strong written communication skills
- US Citizen and must be able to obtain security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- MS in engineering discipline
- 6+ years’ experience in systems engineering
- Demonstrated successful experience
- In AFLCMC program office in engineering role
- Operating in Teamcenter or similar product lifecycle management (PLM) system
- Working as systems engineer with project leadership responsibility
- In systems engineering with an industry
- With digital thread/digital twin application or implementation
- As systems engineer in DoD, NASA, aerospace, or automotive industries
- Supporting programs for DoD, DoE, and other government agencies
- Applying 3D modeling and simulation tools and techniques to automated testing constructs
- Creating and exploiting model-based technical data packages in a PLM environment
- Demonstrated strong verbal communicator
- Self driven
