The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is eager to hire multiple self-motivated professionals to support our construction projects in Everett as Assistant Inspector/Materials Tester. This In-Training position will support these programs by assisting the project inspectors, testing and sampling construction materials used on WSDOT projects. As the Assistant Inspector, this position will support the project inspector to ensure that the project is being built according to the Standard Specifications and Contract documents. As the Material Tester, the incumbent will ensure accurate testing and sampling using testing equipment and established procedures. This position is vital to ensuring that testing, sampling, and documentation of construction materials is accomplished efficiently and accurately while aligning with applicable rules and policies.
