The OpportunityWSDOT has exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who has a passion for environmental issues to join the Olympic Region Environmental & Hydraulic Services (EHS) Office, Permits & Documentation Unit. In this role, you will serve as the Environmental Coordinator that prepares and writes environmental review documents and environmental permit applications. In addition, this individual acts as Environmental Compliance Inspector conducting field investigations of assigned project sites to ensure compliance with documentation and permit conditions. Our top candidate must be solution oriented, have exceptional communication skills, and be able to communicate with internal and external customers. What to ExpectMajority of work is performed indoors in an office environment however field investigations may be required. Field investigations may be conducted within a field site, roadway, construction, or right-of-way.
