We have an immediate need for an Application Engineer to join a well-established, global leader in the engineering and manufacturing of Advanced Connectivity Solutions for industrial, renewable, and utility markets, with the technical product and manufacturing knowledge.
 

Are you an electrical or mechanical engineer in the manufacturing industry? Do you specialize in production quality assurance and testing to ensure products are developed to the proper certification standards?
 

Requirements / Responsibilities for this Application Engineer opportunity includes:
 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Should have at least 1 year of real-world manufacturing experience, supporting production efforts.
• Exposure to or professional experience with LEAN practices is desired.
• Should be knowledgeable of ISO-9001 production standards and requirements.
• Must maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of product listings, certifications, and production requirements to provide support to production teams.
• Will provide support to production teams to solve issues or improve processes when needed.
• Supporting sales teams and researching info about new product markets.
• Coordinate with third-party groups to facilitate inspections, testing or maintenance required.
• Will review and document test data, in order to continue to improve testing procedures and requirements.
• Review and approve, or provide technical feedback for engineering drawings, test reports.
• Should have working proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks software, or similar.

Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, or commensurate with experience.
