Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 for our Environmental & Hydraulic Office. This position supports WSDOT’s mission by ensuring highway projects are designed to comply with hydraulic policies and procedures, improving the quality of communities WSDOT serves. This position will serve as a technical and regulatory specialist in the field of Hydraulics. Provide hydraulic related support to ensure compliance with WSDOT runoff and drainage policy and environmental regulations including the Clean Water Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Washington State Hydraulic Code, State Environmental Policy Act, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and WSDOT policies and guidance.
