Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Technical Engineer to serve as the Materials Quality Assurance Engineer in Tumwater, WA. This position acts as the senior technical program specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the State Materials Laboratory Quality Assurance section and is responsible for oversight of materials quality computer programs. This is the first point of contact for resolution of materials issues from Project Engineers, Region Materials Engineers, and their staff. The Materials Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing materials specifications and construction manual requirements. Manages the State Materials Laboratory Quality Assurance Section which administers several programs of statewide impact.
