This entry-level position will be responsible for working, as part of a diverse and skilled technical team, to develop airframe designs to maximize sensor and payload performance on aircraft. This position brings together a comprehensive understanding of aerospace engineering and a practical knowledge of applied computer science principles, to develop solutions specifically targeted toward aircraft in flight.
Minimum Qualifications1. Completed Bachelor’s Degree by January 15, 2022
2. Familiarity with the fundamentals of aerodynamics and aerospace engineering
3. Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required
4. Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position
Preferred Qualifications1. Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering
2. Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) programming in algorithm-level languages such as Matlab/Simulink, Python or similar
3. Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor
4. Familiarity with digital engineering/digital twin design methodologies for rapid prototyping
5. Familiarity with fundamentals of machine learning techniques and tools, such as reinforcement learning implemented in Python Pytorch
6. Demonstrated, effective interpersonal skills
7. Active US SECRET (or higher) clearance
