Amatrol is looking for subject matter experts to make complex topics easy to understand at both basic and advanced levels. Technical Curriculum Developers work closely with our engineering, multimedia, graphical services and web-software development teams to develop training systems that include interactive eLearning and hands-on simulators.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and edit interactive technical curriculum content that covers a broad spectrum of electrical and mechanical technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and publication teams to create products.
  • Research concepts and new topic areas as new projects are added – and we have a lot of projects!
  • Track projects and generate reports as needed

Requirements:

  • 5 years community college or university level teaching experience (Preferred)
  • Bachelor degree in a technical or scientific discipline such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Automation, etc. (Required)
  • Industrial electrical, mechanical, and/or automation experience: 5 years (Required)
  • Excellent knowledge of applied industrial electrical, mechanical, and automation technology (Required)
  • Excellent English editorial and written content development skills with complex technical content (Required)
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills (Required)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills (Required)

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in technical or scientific discipline (Preferred)
  • Instructional design background (Preferred)
