Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
As a key member of this Manufacturing IT Group, you will be developing real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level, using a variety of software programming tools.  The solutions you will design will be specifically tailored to meet the business and technical needs of our customers.
Required Skills / Qualifications: 
  • Experience with some or all of the following compiled programming languages: C/C++, Java, or .NET
  • Experience with some or all of the following databases: MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience with some or all of the following web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, ASP .Net
  • Experience with some or all of the following virtualization technologies: VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V, etc.
  • Successful completion of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree.
  • Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, client management skills; and a team player.
  • Possession of a current and valid driver’s license
  • Up to 50% travel 
Optional Skills / Qualifications: 
  • Experience with some or all of the following real time devices: PLCs, Microcontrollers, etc.
  • Experience with plus SAP (MII, Websphere, etc).
  • Proficiency with networking: Managed Switches, Layer 3 devices, CCNA certification.
  • Experience or proficiency with ERP platforms is seen as an asset.
  • Experience or proficiency with SCADA systems is also seen as an asset.
