POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs engineering design for formwork and shoring layouts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Duties as assigned by Regional Engineer Manager or Application Engineer Sr.
• Create concrete formwork and shoring drawings
• Prepare design calculations as required for submittals
• Prepare Bills of Material
• Perform Application Engineering Functions as required
• Make job site visits as directed by supervisor
• Assist Account Managers in sales efforts as requested
• Attend classes/seminars to maintain professional competency

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in drafting and design related to construction
• Capable of becoming registered in multiple states within four years

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• EIT Certificate or ability to obtain within one year of date of hire
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT experience a plus.
• Experience in using structural analysis software for simple beam and column elements structure a plus
