Duties: Take ownership of the software development roadmap in every facet, including: capacity planning, code monitoring, scaling to customer needs, software infrastructure, code deployment, and release planning. Create personalized, deliverable software services for customers based on articulated client needs and areas identified for growth within a multi-tenant infrastructure. Work in conjunction with multiple Salesforce teams across several business units to ensure that software infrastructure and dependent applications work harmoniously together. Write and develop new software. Determine the tools, processes, and implementation necessary to support fast iteration software development—working closely with Salesforce’s Development and Infrastructure teams. Manage and mentor a team of engineers in software development and infrastructure best practices. Manage the delivery of software infrastructure at scale. Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in the field of software engineering OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering.  Required skills: (1) UNIX; (2) Oracle DB, PL/SQL, SQL; (3) Puppet; (4) OOP; (5) JIRA; (6) Ansible; (7) Git; (8) Python; (9) Java; (10) Distributed Systems and High Availability Clustering.
