Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has an exciting opportunity for highly experienced engineers to assist in managing teams in the development and administration of highway construction projects. The Assistant Project Engineer will serve as the Project Engineer in their absence, supervising the engineering and administration of design and construction projects. These positions may be assigned the responsibility to manage the development of projects through the planning, scoping, design, contract preparation, construction administration, and project closeout phases. These positions effectively and efficiently implement region and statewide procedures and processes to meet the objectives and performance measures of the Region Construction Program and established biennial commitments.
