Permontes Group Inc. is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator who will work closely with project managers, clients, designers, municipalities, sub-consultants, and administrative staff to ensure the highest possible level of services and will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed in a timely and cost effective manner. We are looking for an energetic individual with a track record of achievement, ability to learn quickly, as well as demonstrate a history of being driven and results oriented with a well-rounded background.
Responsibilities:
Track and analyze project performance, budgets, schedules and report updates to management
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project file set up, filing, distribution and physical/electronic maintenance
Coordinate with internal resources, vendors, clients and municipalities for the flawless execution of calendaring, coordinating meetings, document distribution and general support
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
Provide support to Project Manager’s in definition of project scope and objectives, drafting of proposals, contractor qualification request, contract documents, and change orders
Collect project and management requirements and transform it into projects pipeline
Work with management on resource planning, availability and allocation according to projects pipeline
Based on provided scope and requirements translate them into team tasks, schedule and assign tasks
Coordinate and work with team on project updates and tasks to ensure the project is moving according to schedule
Communicate to the management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
Create and maintain long lasting client relationships
Planning & Entitlement Coordinator should be knowledgeable and have experience in the following land development processes:
Land use approvals
Entitlements
Rezoning efforts
Permitting
Due diligence assistance
Preliminary site investigations
Client representation through the entitlement and public hearing process
Site work estimating and earthwork balancing
Conceptual site layout
Preliminary infrastructure and utility design
Experience and Desired Qualifications:
3-5 years’ experience with a background in construction, engineering, or land development
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient and extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point & Project Scheduler)
Demonstrated analytical ability and problem solving skills
Self-motivated with ability to work well in a team and independently
Excellent judgement, strategic thinking, and forward planning
Excellent time management skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to establish credibility, trust and build relationships with people at all levels of the organization
Ability and willingness to learn and grow professionally
Valid Driver’s License with Proof of Insurance
