Salesforce.com seeks a Systems Engineering Senior at our San Francisco, CA office located at 415 Mission Street, 94105. Duties: Lead the team to a successful deployment of Endpoint Security Operation solutions. (e.g. Antivirus, Application Whitelisting, Host Intrusion Prevention and Firewall, Forensic Analysis Tools, Advanced Malware Solutions, IOC Sweepers). Identify success criteria and key metrics for operational excellence. Initiate and drive the conversation with system engineers and stakeholders to understand and implement continuous improvement processes, automation, system upgrades, and rollouts.  Take ownership for the delivery and service that we provide.  Work with engineers to solve complex issues.  Be comfortable in a leadership position as well as a support position where the goal is to build the team through mentorship and sharing the duties of leading a project. Write custom scripts to introduce automation and reduce the need for human intervention.  Guide the team to use best practices with scale and redundancy in mind. Audit system resources and take action as necessary.  Identify areas that would benefit from automation and champion the implementation. Maintain strong communication and collaboration skills. Engage with other teams and work diligently to build relationships across the company. Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills and demonstrate poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations. Take responsibility for Tier 3 support for Endpoint Security tool sets on various operating systems and cloud platforms. Possess in depth knowledge of OSX, Linux, AWS, etc. Understand and apply best practices in Endpoint security practices, troubleshooting, understanding attack vectors and supporting customers. Demonstrate ability to implement these practices in a large enterprise environment. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of systems security/information security or three (3) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of systems security/information security or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.
