The Public Works Engineering Construction Management group is looking for a construction management analyst/inspector that specializes in conducting inspections of roadway infrastructure to join their team!
Position OverviewPerforms and applies highly technical office and field civil engineering and construction management assignments in roadway infrastructure construction and inspection. The incumbent is responsible for conducting office and on-site inspections of infrastructure construction for assisting in the administration of contracts, for monitoring the quality of the work being performed by the contractor, and for ensuring quality control of the materials utilized in the project.Is expected to work independently, and together with project team members and stakeholders. Work will occur in both office and field environments. Work is reviewed periodically for timely completion of required tasks through reports, conferences and meetings. Required Education and Experience
- Associates Degree in related engineering field; and
- Two years related inspection/engineering work experience for roadway infrastructure, road construction projects, inspection and contract documentation; and
- Experience utilizing various computer applications, databases, word processing, spreadsheets and web based systems for entering, retrieving, managing and researching data and records; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and ability required to perform the work.
