A well-established General Contractor in Houston, Texas that specializes in Design-Build Construction is hiring now and looking for a Construction Estimator to join them full-time, direct-hire!
 

Requirements / Responsibilities for this Construction Estimator opportunity includes:
 

• Must have at least 5 years of professional experience developing successful bids for General Contracting, Design Build, Design-Bid-Build, or Construction Management at Risk methods of delivery.
• Responsible for calculating the cost of materials, labor, and equipment to develop take-offs and winning bids.
• Must research cost of materials and labor, establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors, and prepare bids for submittal.
• Will support buyout process, and sales team with proposals, cost tracking, and development of detailed project scope.
• Monitor project throughout full life-cycle to ensure budget stays within requirements.
• Successful bid experience in the Commercial and Industrial markets is desired.
• Project experience should include Office and retail space, restaurants, warehouses, lite industrial spaces, processing facilities, fulfillment centers, etc.
• Must be comfortable under pressure of time constraints and coordinate successfully with management staff, as well as field supervisors, to ensure that deadlines are metf
• Will support other construction administration tasks, as needed.
• Should be proficient with computers and comfortable assembling spreadsheets.
• Estimating Software experience is a great plus!
• Must be proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
• Bachelor’s Degree or professional training /certifications in construction estimating are desired.

Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, or commensurate with experience.
