TELICS is currently hiring for a Staking/Field Engineer. An individual in this position will investigate, survey and stake electric distribution lines according to construction specifications and prepare staking sheets. An individual in this position must be able to work independently with minimal supervision in addition to demonstrating a high level of responsibility and follow through.

Preferrably need someone FT but would consider PT. Employee would be responsible for driving to locations using personal vehicle and mileage would be paid.

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to perform the functions of design, staking and inspecting facilities.
• Must have the ability to operate a personal computer to obtain and analyze system load studies.
• Must be capable of maintaining system maps.
• Must possess a knowledge of the National Electrical Code and the National Electrical Safety Code.
• Must be capable of communicating effectively with management, employees, members, personnel from other organizations and with the general public.

EDUCATION
Associates degree or equivalent training in electrical or electronics engineering, or equivalent experience.
