Job Description:

Are you proficient with AutoCAD Electrical? Do you have experience creating wiring diagrams, schematics and layout drawings used in manufacturing? Our client, a global manufacturing leader has an immediate need for a contract Electrical Designer to assist with an increase to workload and projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Design mark-ups of complete project to include schematics and P & ID’s to support assembly drawings and flow diagrams.
Create drawings of design components and circuitry.
Lead projects by reviewing proposals, gathering information, revising drawings utilizing AutoCAD, Microfilm, hard copy blueprint or performing calculations.
Verify specifications such as configuration of parts, dimensions and tolerances.
Identify, locate and procure components or services required to complete assigned projects.
Review work orders and procedural manuals to resolve problems with designs.
Develop Bills of Materials.
Education and Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree Electrical Design plus 3 to 7 years experience.
Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical
Oracle experience.
Eplan experience beneficial but not required.
