Senior Project Engineer

$90-110K plus up to 20% bonus
Our Akron, Ohio client is looking to hire a Senior Project Engineer. This Project Engineering position focuses on designing, developing and implementing new or revised processes. This Engineer will apply advanced knowledge of a job area leading projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision. This Engineer will support continuous improvement/automation activities. Design equipment and processes to ensure most efficient and productive operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision.
• Coach and review work of lower level professionals.
• Support continuous improvement/automation activities.
• Design equipment and processes to ensure most efficient and productive operations.
• Plan sequence of operations and specific procedures for preparing materials and operating equipment.
• Lead capital and process improvement projects from inception through construction and commissioning.
• Oversee contractors on a daily basis.
• Working knowledge of PSM/RMP and RAGAGEP.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience leading capital projects of large scope.
• Polymerization is a  plus.
• Working knowledge of PSM/RMP and RAGAGEP.
