TITLE OF POSITION: Capital Equipment Product Manager


REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing Position Summary – This position strives to gain an increased market share for company Capital Equipment products through proactive sales to the Defense/Aerospace and private sectors. Customers that are aircraft related, general aviation and airport terminal/airline markets are targeted with measured efforts which include quotes and detailed presentations at customer sites. This position is based out of the Dallas location with 75% travel throughout North America and Canada.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

 Perform face-to-face selling at potential customer locations

 Prepare project quotes for customers utilizing their requirements

 Prepare and present detailed information at customer sites

 Prepare and submit sales forecasts, project logs and trip reports

 Support various conferences, exhibitions and conventions

 Perform all other duties being relative to the basic function of the stated position Position Qualifications

 Proven strategic selling skills including ability to develop and deliver presentations as well as create, compose, and edit written materials

 Organizational skills, including scheduling, planning, coordinating and reporting details

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including motivation, training, morale boosting and art of persuasion

 Must be tenacious and proactive about sales

 Must be willing to devote the time and energy necessary to travel and entertain customers

 Must possess strong understanding of customer relations and market dynamics

 Must maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image

 Technical knowledge of solid-state power conversion techniques and equipment is preferred

 Work history that reflects stability, personal growth and support of the Company

Experience - At least three years of successful technical selling experience is preferred with a minimum of two years in a traveling sales position. Experience selling and interacting with US Military installations is preferred.

Education - A four year college degree or equivalent technical experience is preferred Required - Documented US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
