In this role you will work in a science-driven and collaborative environment dedicated to the development of customer-based solutions.  You will be the technical link between the global food market, production and R&D and act as the support expert on the complete range of products they offer.  
  • Responsible for supporting the technical sales deal flow, product development efforts and in use hurdles to closing the sales cycle.
  • Heavy focus on product development and formulations.  Creates, sells and promotes the products.
  • Proactively provide suggestions for improvements and adjustments in relation to your experience and current market knowledge.
  • Capable of driving the growth of the products, including providing input on the innovation of new applications and uses for company.
  • Work towards achieving long term relationships with customers, acting as the primary technical liaison between the client and the Sales lead.
  • Travel to customers and participate at trade shows.
  • Consistently evaluate markets and new opportunities, and work continually towards the goal of finding new customers. Supplemental to making commercial offers, you will collect and process technical data to share with Sales team and customers.
  • Evaluate new customer and sales opportunities in line with the current process and strategic direction, and act in a rigorous manner as regards following up on new business opportunities and closing new contracts
  • Inform the Customer Sales department regarding customer agreements and complaints and follow them closely until their conclusions, new product applications and assist in training both the sales team and the customers on the technical aspects of the products
  • Assist customers with quality audits to provide an excellent product quality and service
  • Inspire customers to develop new products based on market trends
  • Responsible for creation of the technical documentation related to the different applications of our products.
To be considered for this role....
• A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology or a related and relevant discipline.  
• Seeking experience in the food ingredients arena
• We're hoping to find someone with at least 4 years' experience.
• Seeking a driven person who enjoys finding new markets and customers.  Self motivation will be key.
• Have strong analytical skills and demonstrate high levels of accuracy.
• Have excellent communication, commercial and interpersonal skills.
