Job Description:

Forensic Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training

Revision Engineering offers forensic engineering services to determine the extent and cause of damage to structures and their components.  Evaluations include hurricanes, tornados, hailstorms, floods, leaks, fires, explosions, earthquake, vibration, vehicular impacts, construction defects, accidents, product failures, overloads, misuse, moisture sources, and normal service conditions.

Our mission is to service clients with integrity while providing clear, accurate, and defendable conclusions to assist with project resolution while enriching our team with rewarding career development.

We combine education and experience with hands-on-training to determine non-biased conclusions with confidence.  We develop reports to explain those conclusions with clear and simple language to be understood and useful to a wide variety of readers.  If necessary, expert witness testimony follows to assist with conflict resolution.

Our core values include dedicated customer service, quality, integrity, passion for investigation, and fun.  We also have a strong focus on career advancement and development through education, training, experience, and client relations.

We are looking for self-motivated Professional Engineers or Engineers-In-Training that are dependable while working in teams and independently.  You must be passionate about problem solving and able to think outside-the-box.  Design/construction field experience and proficiency with building codes are valuable assets.  Also, strong verbal, writing, and people skills are critical.

You must be comfortable to work on ladders and scaffolding in hot and cold environments, and lift heavy objects.  You also must be physically able to perform tasks associated with inspections including high roofs, sloped roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and exteriors of commercial buildings, residential buildings, and other structures.  If you are more excited about climbing on a building, than sitting in an office, then this is a good fit for you:)

You will be able to work from home in Florida, as daily reporting to an office is not required.  You will have opportunity to travel throughout the state as well as to other states to respond to customer needs, as our clients specifically request your service.

Required:
B.S. Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Valid driver license and reliable vehicle.
Professional Engineering License in the State of Florida, or on track to obtain.
Salary commensurate with experience
