Zhejiang Lab is a new research institution that provides a vibrant environment for creative research. The institution has the world-class facilities and infrastructure and offers competitive salary and benefits. It is located in the very beautiful city Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province.
The Optical Imaging and Sensing Lab is actively recruiting 30 researchers at various levels right now. The Lab is lead by a professor who is a Fellow of Optica and Fellow of SPIE. Scientists with a Ph. D in optical imaging, vision and retinal diseases, adaptive optics, optical engineering, liquid crystal materials and devices, electrical engineering, deep learning for image processing are welcome to apply. Our research interests include, but not limited to, the following topics:
- High-speed high-resolution 3D optical imaging systems for micro-, nano-, and macro-scale imaging
- Adaptive optics
- Ultrafast imaging
- Micro- and nano-fabrication
- Liquid crystal materials and devices
- Metamaterial/metasurface for lens, wavefront engineering and sensors
- Optical design (including freeform optics)
- Smart optical elements
- Polarization and applications of vector beams
- Diffractive optical elements
- Holography, holographic materials, digital holography, interference imaging
- Smart wearable devices for vision
- Visual optics and retinal neural science
- Compressive sensing
- Intelligent image processing
- Machine vision
