Job Description:

In this role as a PLANT PROCESS ENGINEER you will identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes across the entire plant.  This includes defining the problem, analyzing processes and cost data with engineering knowledge, identifying and testing improvements, and working with Operations, Maintenance, and Environmental teams to implement improvements directly or developing capital projects to implement the solution.

Seeking a creative, can-do person who loves finding problems and implementing solutions.  This is a mechanical batch chemical type process.  Good background and an eye towards CI is ideal.

  • Benchmark plant operations using process and cost data
  • Work with Operations, Maintenance, and Environmental teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement solutions to problems
  • Communicate with people at other sites brainstorm problems and share solutions
  • For capital projects, develop solutions, evaluate alternatives, justify the selected alternative, and support the engineering and construction process
  • A diverse technical background is ideal, including but not limited to, combustion, high temperature materials, material handling, waste heat recovery, environmental engineering processes, and project management. 
  • Strong knowledge of industrial process plant facility operations
  • Working knowledge of industrial furnace applications, heat recovery steam generation, water treatment systems a plus
  • Experience in Large Scale Environmental Controls
  • Experience working and supporting cross-functional project teams is highly desirable
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and an ability to think outside the box is critical in this role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


To be Considered for this role you must hold at least a B.S. in Engineering with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a plant engineer.  Ideally seeking a Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering degree.  2- 10 years is the target.
