Job Title: Senior Project Engineer (Land Development)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area (San Jose, Santa Rosa, Pleasanton, Redwood City)

 

A Top Design Firm in California is seeking Mid to Senior-Level Project Engineer in Civil Engineering who has experience working on land development and roadway design projects. Essential Duties of Senior Project Engineer:

  • Project Design for site development
  • Grading and drainage plans
  • Utility systems for water and sewer
  • Prepare reports and master planning studies to include specifications and cost estimates
  • Provide input to Project Managers in preparing current project status reports to keep clients informed
  • Lead the quality control efforts on your projects
  • Collaborate with Design Team and support other staff members
  • Learn business development and client relation skills (budgeting, schedules, client care, invoicing)
  • Projects include residential, commercial, mixed-use and public works projects

 

Senior Project Engineer Qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ experience desired in Civil Engineering to include applying standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E) License
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering preferred
  • Experience with grading, drainage plans, and utility systems for water and sewer
  • Ability to Travel within the Northern California Bay Area (Pleasanton, San Jose, Redwood City)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required
