Our Company: MULTI-SEALS, INC. is a manufacturer of precision adhesives used worldwide since 1982 in a variety of industries including electronics, fiber optics, automotive, aerospace, military, medical, and appliances. 
 
We are seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Engineer to work closely with the Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and improve products and processes throughout the organization.   
 
Job Type: Full-time with benefits including health and disability insurance
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop high-volume high-precision production, extrusion, and powder processing equipment and assist in improving related processes.
  • Provide feedback on laser production processes.
  • Design tools and machinery to produce custom seal and spacer configurations.
  • Design and oversee the production of automated loading devices.
  • Specify and evaluate high-volume and in-process inspection equipment and processes.
  • Perform basic wiring and electrical functions, including troubleshooting electrical machine tool controls.
  • May require fabrication, operation, application, maintenance, and installation of mechanical systems.
  • Provide technical support to sales for new applications and new product development.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent major
  • 4 to 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust to changes in job priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
  • Proficient with CAD software
  • PLC Programming (Ladder Logic)
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
