OATI is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer with experience defining, designing, validating and working through production of microprocessor and microcontroller based systems.  The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of work experience in this area.  Additionally, having experience with wireless modules and RF understanding is desired.  Skills and understanding of switch mode power supplies and implementing PMIC solutions is also desired.
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience designing microprocessor/microcontroller based systems
  • 3+ years of experience designing and integrating wireless systems
  • Radio Frequency (RF) communication development experience
  • Experience with agency certifications and testing such as FCC, UL, etc.
Other Requirements:
  • Schematic capture, circuit analysis, circuit simulation
  • Microprocessor based system design and testing
  • Ability to define and implement hardware test solutions for production functional test
  • Experience with DDR Memories and PMICs
  • Understanding of EMC/EMI and ESD design principles is important
  • Ability to interface with contract manufacturers for production and test issues
  • Must be highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
