OATI is seeking an Associate Embedded Firmware Engineer.  Working under the direction of Senior Firmware Engineers, this person will work on the definition, design and implementation and validation of embedded firmware running on microcontrollers.  Coursework in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and hands on experience working with IDEs and embedded C is desired.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or other comparable degree or certification with relevant work experience
  • Coursework or experience developing embedded firmware for microcontroller based systems
  • Coursework or experience with embedded RTOS configuration and implementation Experience with IDEs developing Embedded C applications
  • U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
  • Local to MN
Other Requirements:
  • Experience working with low level drivers for UARTs, SPI, I2C, Timers and ADCs
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
