Site/Civil Engineer – Project Manager

French & Parrello Associates is seeking a talented, energetic and self-motivated Civil / Site Engineer with strong management and communication skills to work in our Corporate Headquarters located in Wall Township, NJ.  We offer an excellent opportunity to work on a vast array of land development projects for various municipal, educational, and private entities.  Job requirements and expected responsibilities include:

Job Requirements

·         Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of Civil Engineering.

·         Professional Engineer’s (PE) License preferred.

·         5+ years of experience in Land Development Engineering

·         Candidate should possess strong communication, verbal and technical writing skills.

·         Familiarity with analyzing local zoning development ordinances.

·         Familiarity with permitting agencies and procedures, including Federal, State, County, and municipal agencies.

·         Experience in site layout and design, including constraints map preparation, yield map preparation, grading, drainage and utility design.

·         Experience with stormwater management regulations, including stormwater basin design and preparation of stormwater management reports.

·         Software experience should include AutoCAD Civil 3D, PondPack, Microsoft Office.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

·         Support the Department Manager and other PM’s to manage active projects from design development stage to construction level

·         Oversee and manage internal design team to meet project specific deadlines

·         Develop complete set of construction plans and supporting documents for various site plan and subdivision applications.

·         Engage with client on a timely basis

·         Maintain existing, and develop new, client relationships and opportunities

·         Ability to present professional engineering testimony at the Planning or Zoning Board hearings.

·         Attend networking functions, as requested.
