Our client is searching for a Corporate Senior Engineer to be the expert for multiple sites in the Midwest region.  To begin there will be about 50% travel, but that will go down after the first 6-12 months and you've established yourself.  This role was created to drive efficiencies in the operations of the company's primary heat recovery steam generator systems.  These are manufacturing plant operations using dirty gas heat recovery steam generator technology.  

You will be responsible for the performance and condition of the systems related equipment/facilities.  You will drive optimal metrics / goals, upgrades, review and oversight of inspection and maintenance data, and ensuring proper monitoring and procedures are in place.  Responsible for drafting/writing/updating proper SOP's.  Manage projects concept to completion and implement best practices across multiple sites.  Perform other duties as needed.


  • To be considered you MUST hold a degree in Engineering and have at least 10 years experience.
  • Must be familiar with related manufacturing operations or the coal-fired power industry.  Knowledge of dirty gas heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) such as the ones you might find in pulp and paper, coal-fired power generation, steel making, minerals production, trash to steam, etc.  Must have detailed knowledge of feed-water, piping systems, turbine generators, etc.  
  • Seeking a highly capable problem solver and project manager/engineer
  • You must be willing/able to lead inspection activities on assigned assets.
  • Must be able to create and document proper maintenance procedures
You could be based near Cincinnati, OH, St. Louis, MO or the Chicago, IL suburbs.
