Position Descriptions: Field Service Engineer
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, electrical/electronic and hydraulic experience to install, service and train customers on our product lines throughout North America. As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for installing, trouble shooting and making necessary repairs to various types of PLC/CN controlled hydraulic equipment. This position provides the opportunity for personal growth through experience and training, including factory training at our parent facility in Italy. At times, you will be required to travel extensively, sometimes at short notices depending upon customer demands.

  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams and floor plan designs
  • Install and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components
  • Repair malfunctioning equipment and replace faulty components
  • Navigate electronic panels, and perform basic ladder logic to identify issues
  • Travel domestically and internationally to project sites

Requirements: Candidates must have outstanding communications skills, electrical and hydraulics experience. They must be customer focused and goal oriented. 3-5 years of technical troubleshooting is required, as well as a willingness to learn and travel. We are looking for technicians who are capable of working independently and reliably. We seek self-starting employees with a passion for success and the ability to multi-task. You must be able to read and understand schematics, hydraulic diagrams and floor plans. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and basic computer programs is required. Knowledge with PLC systems is a plus.

  • Electrical and Hydraulic technical troubleshooting/PLC systems: 3 years
