Learning and Development Specialist
The eLearning and application developer will work as part of a collaborative team to design, develop, and implement instructional web-based training lessons for use in interactive multimedia instruction (web-based training and mobile application). Qualified candidates should possess excellent problem solving skills, an amicable ability to build good working relationships, with demonstrated ability to communicate agile and futuristic concepts concisely and clearly. Demonstrated experience working successfully both in a collaborative team environment and independently.

Learning and Development Specialist Responsibilities
Develops and tests eLearning and mobile training courses to meet/exceed educational and industry standards.
Creates effective digital facilitator guides, workbooks, and handouts, used to enhance Instructor-led, self-study and virtual classrooms.
A visionary capable of scripting a visual recording, editing, and syncing voiceover narration to enhance learning offerings.
Image modification using flash, pdf and other 3D models for intentional knowledge points.
Analyzes content to determine optimum approach to delivery.
Create stand-alone eLearning courses and/or online presentations for instructor-led local and remote training modules.
Consult with business partners and stakeholders to perform training needs analysis and determines proper approach to design development, and implementation of learning programs.
Design creative materials consistent with development guidelines and established standards.
Effectively and efficiently manage and report project health.
Participate in internal continuous improvement efforts by offering ideas and creative solutions to improve policies, processes, content and tools. Create development processes, methods, and reusable templates for efficiency and re-usability.

Learning and Development Specialist Qualifications
6 - 9 years of experience in instructional design with Bachelors Degree, or 4 - 7 years with a Master's Degree.
Demonstrated experience with creating and managing a compliance training program.
Demonstrated experience with creating programs using social and micro learning methodologies.
Samples of training material using current authoring tools and programs (Story-line, Captivate, IBM applications or other leading software tools).
Display of portfolio containing storyboard projects used in collaboration with a team from concept to build.
Samples of online training projects as a contributor or lead.
Understanding of SCORM/AICC/TINCAN API protocols and content functionality in multiple LMS programs.
Understanding of embedded audio and video, customization, and technical requirements for a variety of systems and browsers is also desired.
Proven knowledge of Curriculum Design Process in addition to examples of time as a project lead.
Online and/or physical portfolio that includes examples of previous work.
