Regional Sales Manager - $100-120K + 25% Bonus + Car – Electronic Sensors and Industrial Equipment/Machinery  (sold to medical/pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive, marine, construction, chemical, oil/gas, heavy industrial process industries) – Will assist Market Managers that are responsible for sales and marketing efforts for products sold to into most manufacturing markets; Will be trained in and assist in preparing Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan, assist in Development of sales forecast for market segment. Determine and fulfill appropriate customer/prospect contact and communications including routine phone calls, and account management visits, trade shows, etc.; Select, guide and coach professional and effective sales representatives (rep groups / distributors) where appropriate; Responsible for ensuring that all reps having appropriate product knowledge; Jointly agree to sales targets and goals with the sales representatives; Conduct internal cross-training for the other market managers and customer service personnel; Prepare product pricing analysis and recommend action; Understand, analyze and evaluate profitability by product line and make recommendations for additions and deletions for each market responsibility; Direct the overall account management for any accounts in coordination with the efforts and support of the Marketing Communications Specialist. Specifically: Negotiate contracts as part of the company management team; Monitoring replenishment process, assuring product needs are fulfilled; Recommend product selection and pricing; Responsible for trade shows, tent sales, promos as needed; Visit key accounts and / or market channels;  Develop strategy with Category Manager Financial analysis;  Account issue resolution; Arrange for training as needed;
Requires a BS degree, prefer BSME/BSEE and MBA. Some engineering experience working for a manufacturer woukd be a plus,  Strong technical Sales/Business Development to various channels of distribution, account management experience, or product management experience; Applications, Project or Sales Engineering background. Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop recommendations based on thorough analysis of data and market information. A plus would be Experience with and/or understanding of channels, market segments, distribution, rep groups. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to work cooperatively and effectively with managers, associates and customers. Travel is expected with this position, from 25-75% depending on the season.
